Thanks for the very interesting lead, which I will pursue. Without seeing your source, the confusion that comes to my mind is that Kyd Douglas would seemingly be aware that Jackson was sending the duplicate, in his hand writing, to DH Hill. For Douglas to be so careless with such an order, especially under such a control / security freak as Jackson, seems out of step...
