Henry Kyd Douglas did not lose special order 191. The copy that was lost was one that came from Gen. Lee to Gen. D.H. Hill. Gen. Jackson received his copy and he recopied the order to send one to Gen. D.H. Hill who was under his command. Jackson kept his original copy in his possession. His men were not camped near where the lost order was found anyway. Ge. D.H. Hill received the copy from Jackson. It is today among his papers at the North Carolina Depy. of Archives and History. All of this information is from "The Gleam of Bayonets" by James Murfin. Douglas could not have lost the order.
